Natalie Shoup is working to support research, technology solutions and systems strengthening efforts for combating child sexual abuse and exploitation as well as to enhance collaboration between child protection and tech industry as Safe Online Specialist, Industry Lead at End Violence. She recently has worked with Nest around program development and content creation for child and youth-facing programs for preventing victimization and perpetration of sexual violence.

Natalie Shoup is working to support research, technology solutions and systems strengthening efforts for combating child sexual abuse and exploitation as well as to enhance collaboration between child protection and tech industry as Safe Online Specialist, Industry Lead at End Violence. She recently has worked with Nest around program development and content creation for child and youth-facing programs for preventing victimization and perpetration of sexual violence. Natalie has worked with Developing Minds Foundation, most recently as Executive Director, supporting NGOs in the US, Brazil and Colombia to provide psychosocial and educational support for children, youth and families affected by violence. Previously, she was Program and Training Manager at Data-Pop Alliance, a coalition of Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, MIT Media Lab and Overseas Development Institute. She managed multi-sectoral projects and research partnerships including development of a socio-technological innovation, Open Algorithms (OPAL) for privacy-preserving data sharing supported by participatory governance mechanisms as well as the creation and delivery of professional data literacy trainings jointly with UN Systems Staff College. Natalie completed a Master’s in Education and International Development at the University of Cambridge, focusing on intersections of digital futures, child development and peace education. She received her BSE in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University.
